The chief executive officer (CEO) of Maple Leaf Foods Inc., a $1.5 billion market capital public company, employing 23,000 people in more than 50 locations, has just been advised that a deadly outbreak of Listeriosis has been linked to products shipped from a Maple Leaf Foods plant and there have been several fatalities and many more severe illnesses linked to this contamination.
